Cybersecurity solution recognized in “New Revenue Potential” category for offering system integrators a recurring revenue opportunity

DALLAS – March 7, 2018 – The National Systems Contractors Association (NSCA) recently named Razberi™ CameraDefense™ its 2018 Excellence in Product Innovation award winner for “New Revenue Potential.” Hosted in conjunction with Commercial Integrator magazine, the awards recognize products that “have a profound impact on system integrators.”

NSCA EPI Award

Razberi CameraDefense automates and scales industry best practice cyber protections for video surveillance systems and network endpoints. Using the software’s 24x7 threat and health monitoring, system integrators can realize a recurring services revenue opportunity.

“Our focus is to recognize manufacturers that are totally committed to our channel, and have innovative products specifically designed for system integrators to help them generate more revenue, earn more profit, reach new customers, and open new markets,” said NSCA Executive Director Chuck Wilson. “Every product we reviewed is offering something unique and different to our industry – but these winners stood out for their ingenuity and use of technology.”

Embedded in Razberi ServerSwitchIQ™ video surveillance appliances, CameraDefense is part of a unique, layered approach that provides comprehensive protection over the server, video management system (VMS), and camera ecosystem. Integrated virus and malware protection guard the VMS by predicting known and unknown attacks to proactively prevent malware execution.

Ongoing cybersecurity monitoring and alerts enable integrators and their customers to act before it is too late. Integrators can manage alerts via Razberi VyneWatch™ health monitoring, Milestone XProtect®, and other certified VMS products. The solution is compatible with all network cameras.

“Video surveillance systems are vulnerable to hackers, but many integrators don’t have the budget, time, or know-how to properly secure them,” said Tom Galvin, Razberi CEO. “Thanks to NSCA, Commercial Integrator magazine, and the other judges for recognizing that CameraDefense enables integrators to consistently implement cybersecurity best practices and deliver ongoing services.”

The Excellence in Product Innovation award winners were chosen via independent voting by an editor from Commercial Integrator magazine, NSCA Executive Director Wilson, and representatives from four system integration companies.
