Devices running Razberi Monitor 2.8.2 have intermittently reported the inability to open the Razberi Monitor UI when using older versions of Chrome browser (e.g., version 66). When a user is accessing Razberi Monitor using older versions of Chrome the browser is sometimes reporting a 401 error and not allowing the user to access the user interface.
Proposed Solution:
Updating Chrome to version 77 provides the resolution to the issue. There are different ways to do so depending on network settings.
Update via Chrome
For devices and networks allowing Chrome to update, use Chrome’s update feature. Start by opening Chrome. Navigate to the top right “more” icon > Settings > About Chrome. Chrome will check for an update and allow you to download and install the update. Select “Relaunch” to complete.
Update via Web Installer.
For networks restricting downloads but allowing internet access the best way to do this is to navigate to the http://www.google.com/chrome page and select “Download Chrome”. The web installer will be placed in your Download’s directory. Use this executable file for updating Chrome
on networks that may have download restrictions.
Offline Google Chrome Installer:
Some networks may be preventing Goggle from updating or may not have access to the internet. For those networks and devices, download the offline installer from:
https://cloud.google.com/chrome-enterprise/browser/download/
Select the Windows 64-bit bundle, copy to a USB Drive or use Remote Desktop Connection to copy the installer to the device and update Chrome
following the instructions of the installer instructions.
